SenseLink
Interactive Dementia Installation
SenseLink is an immersive space that incorporates the use of multi-sensory, cognitive and motor stimulation to provide rehabilitation experiences. Nature and nostalgic elements are incorporated into the themes to inspire a novel experience while providing rehabilitation with a focus on all five senses.

The interactive walls are designed around two key themes: nature and nostalgia. They incorporate multi-sensory elements that engage touch, sight, sound, taste and smell, creating an environment that is both stimulating and calming.
As users interact with the walls and one another, they are encouraged to stretch, bend, lift, and manipulate objects - promoting motor skills essential for daily living. Cognitive functions are also engaged through activities that support memory, coordination, creativity, orientation, and constructional thinking. SenseLink can potentially benefit users through multi-sensory stimulation, motor and cognitive elements that encourage social interaction and nostalgia.
Beyond individual engagement, the walls foster social interaction and contribute to a lively, therapeutic atmosphere. When not in use, the installations remain as artistic and sensory features, enhancing the space with a sense of calm and visual harmony.
